Taste Paradise

*"Taste", among all other Paradise outlets, is often touted as the exemplar of Cantonese and contemporary Chinese cuisines. We were unable to verify this as our dining group during the visit was small (we had to forego many tempting dishes on the menu). *We ordered the Osmanthus-infused Roast Duck, Braised Crispy Noodle with Assorted Seafood, a few dim-sum items and of course, Desserts. *The roast duck was scrumptious and crispy (nicely salted), the skin and meat tasted better than Beijing Ducks elsewhere, we thought. *The noodle came with generous portions of fresh mushroom, fresh scallops, prawns and grouper meat, yummy! *The fried rice-rolls (chee-cheong-fun) was lip-smacking (lots of spicy dried scallop and suitably pan-fried, full of "wok-hey"). *The Truffle Beef Balls were however a tad too salty for us. *Definitely, the desserts were thoroughly enjoyable and memorable! *Siew Ying (staff who attended to our table) provided attentive and meticulous service. Good job, well done!

Blown away by their dim sum choices The freshness of the ingredients are obvious strength that they have. They are very generous with their portions as well. The ice plant salad is an amazing choice to start the lunch, very yummy. Mango prawn fritters are very good too. Love the XO carrot cake and the Siew Mai. Forgotten to take the photo of the lobster pao fan which is very delicious as well. Avocado with coffee ice cream is the only so so item I feel.

The food was great, good portion for the price paid. This time mainly ordering dishes with rice, tried their dim sum few times in the past too. Extremely love their XO carrot cake, one of the best to my liking. Their double boiled soup is very flavourful. Grouper fish fillet is very good too, for the price paid. The staff highly recommended the garlic chives, it was a great recommendation & I am happy with it.

I recently visited the place for dim sum and was blown away by the variety and quality of the offerings. The steamed buns were soft and fluffy, the dumplings were packed with flavorful fillings, and the siu mai had just the right amount of crunch. The service was also excellent, with friendly staff who were quick to refill tea and offer recommendations. Overall, I highly recommend Taste Paradise for a delicious and authentic dim sum experience.
